As Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish New Year) comes upon us, we are excited to launch the new website of the Marc Lavry Heritage Society www.marclavry.org.
We tried very hard to make the site informative and easy to use in both Hebrew and English. We added many compositions and it currently houses over 160 original compositions.

We invite you to visit the site, read and listen to the newly added recordings. What do you think of the site? We would love to hear your feedback.

A painting by Marc Lavry on the theme of Sacred Service

Celebrating Rosh Hashanah, we are sharing with you Marc Lavry’s version of “Se’u She’arim” from the oratorio Sacred Service, Opus 254. The text, from Psalms 24, 9-10, is included in the Rosh Hashanah prayers:

Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Wishing you a fruitful year, a year of creativity and health,

The Marc Lavry Heritage Society
