Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance Award
On April 25, 2013 the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance held a chamber music competition for outstanding ensembles. The first place was won by a trio led by violist Avshalom Sarid: Rotem Bartan, flute; Dror Ben-Tabu, viola; Lior Uziel, harp.
The trio was selected for playing a composition by the Isareli composer Marc Lavry – Suite Concertante for Flute, Viola and Harp, Opus 348.
The Marc Lavry Heritage Society produced and provided the sheet music to the trio, pro bono.
Congratulations Rotem, Dror, Lior and Avshalom!
