Synopsis:
The song “Chadash Hayom Shirenu” was written in honor of the Israeli Independence Day in the early 1950s.
The music and lyrics of the song were found in the song book Machrozet (Medley) by Levin Kipnis called which was published in 1953. The date the song was composed is unclear as it was not documented in Lavry’s opus book either.
