Synopsis: The String Quartet Opus 108 is documented in the composer’s Opus book but Lavry did not keep the sheet music.
The program of the premiere of the composition includes a description of it. It is worth noting that among the musicians participating in the concert were the leading composers of the time: Paul Ben-Haim, Oedoen Partos and Joachim-Yehoyachin Stutschewsky.

The composition was premiered in 1940. It was also performed by the Weissgerber Quartet in the same year.
