Thanks so much for your inquiry. We also received your email request and will reply to you with all the info shortly. 
In a nutshell, there are two compositions titled &quot;Emek&quot;, one is the song Marc Lavry composed in 1935 to Rafael Eliaz&#039;s lyrics, and that quickly gained the status of an Israeli folk song, and the other, the symphonic poem (with no lyrics) Lavry wrote in 1937. The latter was based on the 1935 song. 

I will make sure to add a separate post for the song so future readers can learn about it too. As you can see, the site is very new and we&#039;re just starting to add compositions.
