Great that you put up this site.
I am happy that the powers that be at the radio agreed to release the recordings.This is not self-understood,as in many cases they have treasures that for some strange reason they will not release or destroy or store in remote dungeons.
Great that you were able to wrest these documents from their hands.Even greater that they are available to the wide public.Your father’s music is testament to his gifts as a composer and no less to the pioneering spirit that was once here.
BTW,I enjoyed the Fun Facts immensely.

Shalom Raanan, Thank you for your support. As you most likely already know Lavry wrote a number of compositions for flute like Concertino for Flute and Chamber Orchestra, Op. 245 and Suite Concertante for Flute, Viola and Harp, Op. 348. I hope you enjoy them too. Best, Efrat Lavry

This is incredible music with long stretches of inspired lyricism,especially in the second and third movements.
